Jamie Gwen is a true culinary guru. Host of the Los Angeles radio program “The Chef Jamie Gwen Food & Wine Show,"
Chef Jamie's great respect
for fabulous food and the art of cooking has brought her tremendous success both
in and out of the kitchen, and there's no sign of her slowing down any time
soon.
Infused with the joy of cooking from a very young age, Jamie graduated from the
prestigious Culinary Institute of America in New York, then continued to pursue
her career under the tutelage of many world-renowned chefs. She has continued to
both hone and share her kitchen wisdom, cultivating a remarkable culinary
career.
In 2003, Jamie became a
Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers and enjoys sharing her
wine wisdom and perfect pairings with radio listeners and TV viewers worldwide.
With great excitement, she recently released her third cookbook, "Good Food for Good Times.”
You can catch Chef Jamie® stirring up something scrumptious on various national
television shows across the country. As a Food Correspondent and Lifestyle
Expert, she shares resources, recipes and tips to help make everyday more
delicious. In addition, Jamie has a featured Food and Wine column in “Simply
Smart,” a recently-launched national magazine. She writes a monthly column
for Orange Coast Magazine called “Food For Thought”.
Jamie can be seen monthly as a Celebrity Guest Chef on the Home Shopping Network
(HSN) with her signature “Chef Jamie®” Food Line and Command Performance
Cookware.
Her previous television work includes producing and styling all of the on-air
food for the "Emeril" Sitcom on NBC, starring Chef Emeril Lagasse. Fans of The
Family Channel's "Home & Family Show" will instantly recognize Jamie as the
show's Resident Chef, who created and prepared over a thousand mouth-watering
dishes during the show's two and a half year run.
