SANTÉ MAGAZINE DOUBLES WEB SITE HITS
August 11, 2005-With the launch of its new interactive website, isantemagazine.com (iSanté), Santé, the Magazine for Restaurant Professionals, has achieved a 100 percent increase in the number of monthly hits recorded compared to its previous site. iSanté replaces the original santemagazine.com site, and visitors to that address will now be automatically redirected to isantemagazine.com.
iSanté continues the magazine's award-winning tradition of responding to the learning needs of the industry. Targeting upscale-casual to fine-dining restaurants nationwide, iSanté provides fresh, easily accessible, just-in-time information on all aspects of the restaurant business. The site currently includes management, food, wine, and spirits news and trends; feature articles from Santé magazine; a calendar of industry events; and an online marketplace.
"Our goal with iSanté is to build an ever-increasing collection of interactive education tools that will empower restaurant professionals to grow their business," says Santé Editor and Publisher Mark Vaughan. As the site expands, it will incorporate pay-for-use interactive management solutions, product reviews, e-learning professional development courses, and more.
iSanté is co-published in partnership with Knowledge Environments, Inc., which brings over 24 years of experience in developing and publishing interactive, educational, online content. "With Santé's knowledge of the industry and our expertise in creating interactive educational Web sites, iSanté merges two essential skill sets to meet the online needs of restaurant professionals," says Emiliano De Laurentiis, president of Knowledge Environments.
Founded by Mark Vaughan and Chris Costello in 1996, Santé is published by On-Premise Communications, Inc., in Bennington, Vermont. Now in its ninth year of publication, the magazine reaches 55,000 upscale casual to fine-dining establishments in all 50 states, Canada, and Mexico. More than 200,000 restaurant professionals read each of the magazine's nine issues per year.
