SANTÉ ANNOUNCES KORBEL BRANDY COCKTAIL COMPETITION
Bennington, VT (June 16, 2005) - Santé, the Magazine for Restaurant Professionals, is pleased to announce the 2005 Korbel Cocktail Competition. The contest, sponsored by Korbel Brandy, begins on June 1, 2005, with entries due on October 1, 2005.
"Shake Up a Winner with Korbel Brandy" challenges bar professionals across the country to create new and interesting cocktails using Korbel Brandy as the key ingredient. Entries will be judged and winners will be selected based on creativity, taste, and presentation. Cash prizes and plaques will be awarded to one Grand Prize winner ($2,500), one First Place winner ($1,500), and one Second Place winner ($1,000). Three Runners-Up will be awarded $500 each. Winning recipes and winner profiles will be featured in the January 2006 issue of Santé.
Carefully distilled according to traditional methods, Korbel Brandy is made form the highest quality California grapes and aged in premium American oak barrels. It is then meticulously blended and bottled by people passionate about handcrafting the finest American brandy.
