Bon Appetit Magazine selects Rathbun's as a "Hot 50" Restaurant

ATLANTA, GA., February 10, 2005: Bon Appetit Magazine’s March edition has selected the “Hot 50” Restaurants from around the country and has chosen Rathbun’s as one of the restaurants from Atlanta. In the magazine’s Restaurant pullout Restaurant Guide that mentions “Top spots around the country-from the hottest scenes to the best new bites”, Bon Appetit says, “We’ve fallen hard for Chef Kevin Rathbun’s sophisticated, yet unfussy, southern style cooking that is one of a kind.” And they say, “Rathbun’s in Inman Park is worth hunting for.”

About Kevin Rathbun: Kevin has worked with renowned chefs like, Bradley Ogden, Emeril Legasse, and Stephen Pyles. He was nominated for the James Beard “Rising Star Chef” of 1994. He brought Atlanta Southwestern cuisine with NAVA and then introduced Fusion to Atlanta as the opening Executive Chef of Bluepointe. From 1999-2003, Chef Kevin was the Corporate Executive Chef for the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, and oversaw many of the restaurants. In May of 2004, Chef Kevin opened his signature restaurant, Rathbun’s, in the Inman Park area of Atlanta.
