Lisa Ekus Public Relations is pleased to introduce Sarah Baurle as Media Relations Specialist for the company.
Founder and Principle Lisa Ekus-Saffer says "Sarah will orchestrate numerous activities to ensure that we continue conducting successful, effective public relations campaigns for our clients. She will also lead new initiatives for our own marketing efforts on the agenting side of the business, including a focus on our website content, management and ongoing development, as well as sharing her expertise in advising on potential growth opportunities and maintaining our strong presence in the industry. This is an exciting time for the company, and we’re delighted to have Sarah contribute her marketing and creative culinary talents to our team."
Sarah joins Lisa Ekus Public Relations after four years at Wimmer Cookbooks in Memphis (TN). In her most recent position as publishing consultant, she worked with nonprofit organizations, businesses and individuals around the country, helping them develop and market a successful cookbook. Prior to that, while director of marketing and distribution, Sarah prepared all marketing materials, coordinated the annual publishing seminar, managed trade show appearances and represented the company at various conferences and events.
Before working for Wimmer, Sarah, who attended culinary school at the Art Institute of Atlanta (GA), taught cooking classes for Viking Culinary Arts Center in Memphis and the Kroger School of Cooking in Atlanta and served as assistant pastry chef at Horseradish Grill, also in Atlanta.
