DayMark Sensor Provides an Easy-To-Read Indication of Temperature Exposure Over Time
Reduces Waste of Salable Products while Preventing Use of Expired Foods

Bowling Green, Ohio - Foodservice operators who are looking for a fail-safe tool to identify the shelf life of the perishable food inventory will now be able to easily moinitor temperature exposure over time thanks to the new DayMark Sensor Label System from DayMark Food Safety Systems utilizing TT Sensor from Avery Dennison. From preparation to consumption, the TT Sensor ensures freshness for the customer and peace of mind for the operator.

The TT Sensor reduces waste of salable products by eliminating premature disposal and identifying expired food. By using the TT Sensor, operators can easily identify food products for proper food rotation to use up soon-to-expire products. It also improves monitoring to help meet HACCP regulatory standards.

The TT Sensor is very easy to use. Simply fill in information on DayMark 3" x 4" Label (optional)and place it on the pan or wrapping. Then place the TT Sensor on the DayMark 3" x 4" label. Next, place the clear Activator Label on the face of the clock, located on the TT Sensor. This activates the yellow alarm clock, which gradually turns pink. If the color of the alarm clock face matches the small pink circle, the label has expired and it is time to discard the food item.

The rate of the color change continually adjusts to surrounding temperature. Duration of the color change ranges from 5 days in a refrigerated cooler to as short as 2 hours at room temperature.

TT Sensor monitors temperature exposure over time, but does not guarantee product quality or safety. See warranty for further details.
