A Virtual Press Release - For immediate press Release.
A world first for Australia is now virtually possible
A new era in professional cookery competitions has been launched onto the World Wide Web called the “Virtual Salon Culinaire” at http://salonculinaire.com
The “Virtual Salon Culinaire” an initiative by chef George Hill from Melbourne and is the very first Salon Culinaire on the Worldwide Web that offers cooks and chefs across the world to participate in a net driven culinary arts competition as an alternative to the conventionally conducted Salon Culinaire that is usually in a major city in conjunction with a trade fair.
George is very excited particularly with the positive feedback received from local and overseas chefs. And as George said “The Virtual Salon Culinaire offers chefs from across the World a unique opportunity to enter an entirely new era and mindset in Salon Culinaire participation, particularly cooks and chefs who may be working in remote areas, on cruise ships, or just not able to enter or have just missed their local salon culinaire.
And just imagine, sometime in the future, in 50 to 100 years time when a Salon Culinaire is conducted somewhere in the world. When cooks and chefs transfer their entry by “Matter transfer” or hologram, maybe not only from a city to a city or country to country but maybe also from a planet to a planet for peer evaluation.
Yes it may be dreaming, but it will happen one day - And it must start somewhere and just maybe this is the start” and it was founded in Australia.
Hundreds of competitions with thousands of participant chefs are conducted across the world in just about every country where there are professional chefs. It is believed that with very few exceptions there is a Salon Culinaire conducted somewhere in the world every day of the year.
Numerous salon culinaires from countries in every continent appear on the web and Australia alone conducts over 15 Salon Culinaires each year in every State and Territory conducting their own local chef’s competition with the major salons in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Western Australia.
George anticipates that the site to grow in popularity and complexity as new ideas and new categories are added and more and more chefs get involved.
And who will be the first to get gold in the first Virtual salon Culinaire?
The competition has been just been listed with chefs across Australia and with chef associations in over 35 countries.
George is now seeking associations and companies to place a link to the site. For further information contact George Hill through the site http://salonculinaire.com or Telephone Melbourne (03) 9761 8889.
