Fine dining for a good cause


Award-winning fine-dining restaurants are teaming up with Share Our Strength to fight childhood hunger. Select restaurants that have earned the prestigious Award of Excellence from the Distinguished Restaurants of North America plan to offer a special prix-fixe menu Aug. 22 through Aug. 26 and will donate a portion of the proceeds to the non-profit hunger-relief organization Share Our Strength. DiRôNA Week will give participant restaurants in the United States, Mexico and Canada an opportunity to showcase their menus while raising funds for an important cause. Each participating restaurant will feature a three-course DiRôNA Week meal, with prices varying by city. For information and a list of participating restaurants, visit www.dirona.com.
