Good Day Recipe Club,

Here's a couple more recipes to entertain your kids with. Cooking with kids is fun, but it is also an opportunity to teach them a little subliminal math skills without it seeming like homework! Today Cynthia shares a link with us for a site called StrainedPeas.com. Check it out for all kinds of fun recipes with names kid's will love. Even some good holiday , birthday and party recipes there.

Better Than Kraft Macaroni and Cheese

Recipe By: StrainedPeas!

12 ounces elbow macaroni; cooked and drained
1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter

Combine all ingredients; mix well and place in baking dish.  Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes or until sauce is thick.

Spider Nest Salad

2 sm. pkg. orange Jell-O
1 can medium crushed pineapple
3 bananas
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 can mandarin oranges
Water
Small Cool Whip, thawed
1 egg
1 T. cornstarch
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 lg. Gummy spider

Boil pineapple juice, egg, sugar, and cornstarch. Cool and fold into Cool Whip.

Dissolve Jell-O in 2 c. boiling water.  Add fruit; mix gently and refrigerate until thick.  Spread topping over  Jell-O; top with grated cheese.  Add spider to center of cheese.   Serves 10-12.
