California Culinary Academy began in 1977 in an old brick building in downtown San Francisco with four kitchens, six chef instructors, and twenty students. The Academy opened to meet rising demand for cooks and chefs across the nation, especially on the West Coast. Now with two full-service restaurants, a retail shop, and banquet amenities, this Le Cordon Bleu affiliated school offers students an education with industry-standard facilities.
Culinary Arts and Hospitality Training the Le Cordon Bleu Way
California Culinary Academy offers quality chef and hospitality training. The Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Program includes classes in basic cookery, culinary arts concepts, and more. The Baking and Pastry Arts Program teaches basic and advanced pâtisserie and baking techniques. The Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality and Restaurant Management Program provides theoretical and practical management skills training.
